Chip Scripple

A weekly comic strip I wrote & illustrated for 3 years,

appearing in the pages of The Butler Collegian.

Chip is a beleaguered chicken coping with the little injustices of everyday life. He's joined by his friend Ozzie, his ex-lover-turned-acquaintance Kate, Kate's roommate Sadie, and the flighty neighborhood diner hostess, Anita.

The strip was awarded "Best Newspaper Cartoon" in the Division II category by the Indiana Collegiate Press Association (ICPA) for two consecutive years.

I'm a Staff Artist currently illustrating Comic Breaks for Nintendo Force Magazine, a

bimonthly physical/digital publication focusing on news, reviews, previews, and community

surrounding Nintendo games. My comics tie into each issue's central theme,

featuring several Nintendo characters and franchises.
